I've used Flight Fins since the Onewheel+, and it's not solely or primarily for jumping or extra control. The ability to simply remove the shield and essentially go fenderless on good weather days is just too good to pass up. I don't always want a fender on, and I've found the Flight Fins package to be the easiest and highest quality way to have that option.
