For me, the purpose of getting a Onewheel was to capture the same feeling as snowboarding in the summer. For two months, I rode my XR just stock, learning the fundamentals and techniques. Then, I decided to go for the Flightfins as they were one of the few options available to get "bindings." Remember, I'm trying to get the closest feeling to snowboarding.
With Flightfins, I can pick up the board with my feet and switch from regular to goofy with ease. What a game changer! They made me feel comfortable turning and jumping. I also appreciate how small they are. They do take some getting used to, as they have pressure points on your feet. I definitely recommend the extenders.
After receiving them I don’t think they’ll actually serve a purpose for my particular riding style. Kinda wish I got the new fins instead
I don't think I would have bought 3 sets for all of my onewheel's if I didn't like them
They're fantastic. I use my pint to commute and I feel so much more locked in. Drops don't feel sketch anymore since my feet aren't sliding off the tiny pint footpads while deweighted. On the XR they're great too, helped me climb my first sizeable curb. I let my friends use my boards consistently. Most of them ride normal while I ride goofy so the minis allow us to still feel locked in on street and trails but swap boards when we want to.
I got them for my pint and they are great
